Published in 1999, this "New York Times Bestseller" by feminist activist, author, and scholar bell hooks (1952-2021) is an exhilirating examination of the meaning and power of love and a call to action, inspiring to us learn to love better.
Thinking Cap Theatre presents SALON, an ongoing Readers’ Series featuring LGBTQ+ and Feminist Texts (nonfiction, novels, plays) curated by TCT's Artistic Director. The aim of the series is to provide a sustained space to foster friendships and dialogue on themes of historical and ongoing importance to LGBTQ+ women and allies.
Prior to the event participants will be emailed a one-page discussion handout.
Catered refreshments are included in the registration cost. This session's menu will include lunch fare, such as salads and sandwiches/wraps, as well as dessert.
Books must be purchased separately by each participant.
